Burger King Canada prepares Whiplash Whopper campaign

Burger King Canada is readying a national advertising campaign to promote a new menu item called the Whiplash Whopper. The campaign, developed by Taxi, will consist of 30- and 15-second television commercials, as well as radio and online advertising in English and French. Media buying was conducted by Initiative Media, while public relation are being conducted by Pilot PMR. "This winter, we're defying the cold and heating things up at Burger King," said Jason Keown, senior director of marketing at Burger King Canada. "We've taken our world-famous Whopper sandwich and spiced it up with zesty, hot flavours. Reserved for spice-lovers only, the Whiplash Whopper gives Canadians even more to love in this Burger King classic, with an added kick."
