Toronto Rehab breaks new campaign

Hospital Toronto Rehab broke a new multimedia campaign yesterday. The initiative, created by Manifest Communications, seeks to draw attention to how rehabilitation maximizes life or for people who have experienced disabling injury or illness. The campaign also highlights the facility's research and clinical care services. The television creative focuses on patient care and research in stroke and heart disease, brain injury, spinal cord injury and sleep apnea. The creative features Toronto Rehab staff. It will air through June 2011 on various television stations in the Greater Toronto Area, supported by print ads featuring testimonials from patients in the Globe and Mail and Zoomer magazine. Radio ads will run until the end of the month. The campaign also includes a website at <http://www.torontorehab.com>. "The scope of what Toronto Rehab is doing is so wide, that a multimedia approach was the only way to get at it," said Jim Diorio, creative director at Manifest. "The traditional media pull you in with the transformative power of rehabilitation, and online you really understand how so many people are touched by what they do."
