Treasury Wine Estates begins VB campaign

Treasury Wine Estates has retained Yield of Toronto to develop a launch campaign for Australian beer brand VB. The campaign consists of radio commercials, online advertising, a website at <http://www.vbincanada.com> and social media activities. The initial phase of the campaign will run for six weeks. "The creative idea is based on how similar Canada and Australia actually are," said Yield creative director Chris Torbay. "The details might be different - animals, place names, sports - but when it comes right down to it, we both love beer, so who cares? We know Aussies in Canada have been longing for VB, and we're sure this quirky campaign will hit the mark." Treasury Wine Estates is the distributor for VB in Canada.
