District of Lillooet rebrands

The British Columbia District of Lillooet has undertaken a rebranding initiative. The district's new brand identity is based on the tagline, "Guaranteed Rugged." The identity will be used to promote the district to outdoor enthusiasts, motor tourists, retirees and telecommuters. "We have created a brand strategy for the District of Lillooet that stands out from the clutter," said Catherine Proulx, managing director of Calgary-based Twist Marketing. "The new theme captures Lillooet's authentic mountain lifestyle and the untamed experiences to be found in the surrounding wilderness."
