Rogers Publishing buys AMPQ Magazine

Rogers Publishing of Toronto has acquired the assets of AMPQ Magazine, a French-language publication aimed at marketing and communications practitioners in Quebec. These assets include a print magazine issued 10 times per year, a daily email newsletter, the AMPQ.com website and the annual AMPQ Repertoire directory. According to the company, the magazine has a circulation of approximately 58,000, while the newsletter has approximately 15,000 readers. "This is an important acquisition that puts us in a leadership position in Quebec's highly influential marketing community," says John Milne, senior vice-president of business and professional publishing at Rogers. "This acquisition further entrenches Rogers Publishing's position as a one-stop shop for marketers who want to reach a truly national audience." No financial details are available.
