Rogers buys Employee Benefit News Canada

Rogers Publishing of Toronto has acquired the assets of Employee Benefit News Canada from SourceMedia of New York. Rogers already publishes Benefits Canada, Avantages and Working Well, which are aimed at the same audience of managers. Rogers will modify the publication to become a new version of Benefits Canada that will be released in Canada and the US six times per year. "This is a natural fit for us at Benefits Canada and an exciting expansion of our portfolio," said John Milne, senior vice-president of the business and professional publishing group at Rogers. "The benefits and pension industry is evolving and we are well-positioned to evolve along side it. This acquisition will help us broaden our scope and better serve readers with responsibilities across North America." No financial details are available.
