Rogers selects new president and CEO

Rogers Communications of Toronto has appointed Nadir Mohamed to the position of president and chief executive officer. He takes over for company founder Ted Rogers, who passed away in December 2008. For the past four years Mohamed has been president and COO of the communications division of Rogers, which includes the company's wireless and cable units. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Rogers Wireless. Before joining Rogers in 2000, Mohamed was at B.C. Telecom.
