Canadian Olympic Committee promotes Keogh

The Canadian Olympic Committee has promoted Steve Keogh to the position of communications director. He will be responsible for the organization's communications department, which handles corporate communications, stakeholder relations, media relations, public relations, issues management, staffing and team promotion. He will also participate in website development and will be assistant press chief for Team Canada at the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games. Keogh joined the committee as communications manager in 2007. Prior to that, he spent nine years as director of communications with the Ottawa Senators hockey team.
