Argyle Communications gains two accounts

Toronto-based Argyle Communications has been appointed public relations agency of record by Neilson Dairy. Argyle won the account in a competitive process involving an unknown number of firms. The agency will conduct a brand building campaign for Neilson's Dairy Oh! brand of milk. "Argyle came highly recommended for their experience in planning and executing creative consumer campaigns that get attention and deliver results," said Julia Kovacs, director of marketing at Neilson Dairy. "We were also impressed with the Argyle team's understanding of our industry and current food and nutrition trends, and media relationships across Canada." Neilson dairy is a subsidiary of George Weston. Argyle has also been hired by the New Brunswick Salmon Growers' Association. The agency will develop a public relations campaign intended to raise awareness of the health benefits of Atlantic salmon and the industry's environmental practices. The campaign will also address the issues of food safety and contaminants.
