Sponsorship roundup

BMO Financial Group has acquired the title sponsor rights to all television broadcasts of the Toronto FC Major League Soccer team for the 2008 season. The one-year agreement includes 30 games broadcast on CBC, Rogers Sportsnet and The Score. This is the soccer team's first broadcast sponsorship. BMO already holds the naming rights to BMO Field, the team's home arena. BMO has also extended a sponsorship agreement making it the official bank of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Raptors and Marlies, as well as the Air Canada Centre and Ricoh Coliseum, until 2011. During this time, BMO will remain the season title sponsor for all the teams. "These sponsorships are a terrific fit, and give us the opportunity for us to strengthen our relationships with customers and communities in Toronto and right across Canada," said Sandy Bourne, vice-president of corporate sponsorships at BMO Financial Group. "[Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment] is a terrific partner, and we look forward to many years of success."
