By Adnews Staff
Canada Post has introduced a new service called "Customized Postal Indicia" which will allow businesses to design a postage indicia that can be printed on envelopes in place of a stamp. According to the corporation, the service is intended to allow customers to differentiate their letters from those of their competitors by making them into a branded medium. The indicia covers approximately twice the space of a stamp. "Our business customers have expressed continued interest in picture postage, which indicated a market for a customized postal indicia for commercial customers," said Alice Lafferty, director of product development at Canada Post. "Lettermail serves as first-impression real estate for customer communications. This product helps businesses enhance first-impressions and catch the eye of customers by adding style and originality. The Customized Postal Indicia stands out and can increase brand awareness and loyalty."
