The Toronto-based Ontario Community Support Association has begun a rebranding effort for its Home and Community Support program. The initiative is focused on a new website at <http://www.homeandcommunitysupport.ca>, which provides residents of Ontario is a guide to the support programs in their areas, including Meals on Wheels, adult day programs, transportation, supportive housing and home care. The new branding effort, funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, includes a new logo in the form of multi-coloured hands embracing. The effort also includes a print advertising campaign along with television and radio public service announcements. The branding work was done by Lift Communications of Toronto. "Given the pressures on our health care system caused by an aging population, it's more important than ever for Ontarians to recognize that the system isn't just comprised of doctors' offices and hospitals," said Claude Tremblay, president of the association. "Home and Community Support services that are available to everyone are critical to the continuum of care."
