Ontario Community Support Association seeks branding firm

The Toronto-based Ontario Community Support Association has issued a request for letters of interest from firms to consult on the development a new brand identity for the organization’s community support services. According to the association, this is its first provincial attempt to create a brand identity for home and community care. The organization is seeking applicants with experience in branding and marketing for the not-for-profit sector. The deadline for proposals is Jan. 30. “When the project is complete, we will finally have a common message and identity that will inform the public at large in a concise way what community support services are and how to find those services that help everyone live at home,” said Susan Thorning, CEO of association. “This will be very meaningful to our members who struggle for recognition of the value they bring to the health care system.” The association represents 400 community support agencies that provide services such as attendant care, day programs, Meals on Wheels, home support, transportation and other programs.
