Jennings joins Globe and Mail

The Globe and Mail has appointed Jim Jennings to the new position of general manager and associate publisher for British Columbia. He will oversee business strategy and operations in the province, including circulation, readership, revenue development and editorial enhancement. Jennings began working for the company on a project basis last year, particularly on the newspaper's recent redesign. Prior to that, he was editor-in-chief of The Toronto Sun, vice-president and editorial director at Thomson Newspapers in the US and group managing editor of Thomson Regional Newspapers in London.
