IBM LAUNCHES NEW APTIVAS

IBM Canada will introduce a new line of Aptiva computers next week that WILL offer 3-D graphics for the first time in the brand's history. Called the Aptiva C series, the 10 machines also come equipped with 150 megahertz, 166 megahertz or 200 megahertz Pentium processors. The hard drives have up to 3.2 gigabytes of storage capacity. Memory options include 16 megabytes of RAM on most models, although some are loaded with 32 megabytes. National print advertising will support the launch of the machines. It was created by Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto. Aptiva computers are only available in Canada.
