Dose.ca begins snowboarding promotion

Toronto-based Dose.ca has begun a cross-promotion with the Canadian Snowboard Federation. The entertainment news website will conduct an initiative called "The Ultimate Snowboard World Cup Contest" in support of the Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup in Calgary next month. The winner will receive a trip for two to the event as well as a package of snowboarding equipment. The wider agreement will work to raise awareness of the federation through various Canwest properties, including Canada.com and the National Post. Dose.ca will receive exposure at competition venues. "In our search for a media partner, we discovered Dose.ca as the perfect match with its ability to reach our target 18-34 demographic and provide exposure throughout the Canwest network," said Tom McIllfaterick, CEO of the federation. "The Canadian Snowboard Federation is excited to work with Dose.ca in a cross-promotional capacity to build awareness of our sport and riders throughout Canada."
