Molson breaks Coors Light Mystery Mansion campaign

Molson has begun a new advertising campaign for Coors Light as part of a promotion for the brand called "Mystery Mansion." The promotion is a return to an initiative first used last year. Consumers can win passes to a party that will be held at a mansion in the mountains. The campaign broke yesterday with a 30-second commercial called "Rocketman." The ad depicts four men standing on a mountain overlooking the mansion, wondering how they can get into the party. One man attempts to get to the mansion using a jet-pack, but he loses control and overshoots his target. The campaign, created by DraftFCB, also includes print, radio and online advertisements, as well as other promotions. Consumers can win by buying specially-marked cases of Coors Light, through on-premise promotions and through online activities at Coorslight.ca. "We had tremendous success with the first year of the Coors Light Mystery Mansion, which is why we are bringing the exclusive event back to our consumers," said Jamie Sprules, Coors Light brand manager at Molson. "Our advertising campaign is a fun take on how far people will go to access this fantasy-filled, once-in-a-lifetime party experience."
