Cision expands Internet monitoring service

Toronto-based media monitoring company Cision has expanded its Internet monitoring division to include 10,000 additional online news sources, particularly blogs. According to the company, this represents double its previous online coverage. "With our Internet monitoring offering, we continue to give unprecedented on-demand access to news coverage at a flat monthly rate that allows clients the freedom to manage risk and respond to opportunities without concern for per-article charges," said company CEO Steve Newman.
