Prince Rupert Port Authority hires Hangar 18
By Adnews Staff
The Prince Rupert Port Authority of Prince Rupert, BC has hired Vancouver-based Hangar 18 Creative Group to undertake a rebranding assignment. The port, the closest in North America to Asia, is in the middle of a $1 billion expansion. The authority plans to introduce its new brand when the first phase of its new container terminal opens in October. "Based on their culture and the excellent rebranding work they did recently for the Vancouver Airport Authority, we felt that Hangar 18 was a very good fit for this initiative," said Shaun Stevenson, the vice-president of marketing and business development at the authority.
