Gary Chernoff has been promoted from account supervisor to account director at Young & Rubicam of Toronto. He will continue working on The Ontario Ford & Mercury Dealer's Association account. Heather Chambers is now at the agency as vice-president and associate creative director. Her client list includes Xerox Canada, Colgate-Palmolive, Digital Equipment of Canada and Whitehall Robins. Previously she was associate creative director at Bozell Palmer Bonner of Toronto
..Michael Carpentier is now at Sandy Kedey & Associates of Toronto as the head of strategic planning and client services. Most recently he was marketing and advertising director at Guess Jeans. He has also been a partner in two Montreal-based agencies: Anagram Communications and Art & Strategy
...Lorraine McLachlan has joined the Canadian Direct Marketing Association as council manager. Previously she was resource development director at Sistering. Gilles Latour is now at the association as membership sales and marketing manager. Most recently he was member services manager at the Canadian Office Products Association
