Tabi conducts Face of Tabi contest

Toronto-based clothing retailer Tabi has resumed a promotion from last year called the “Face of Tabi.” The company has begun a contest to find Canadian women over the age of 40 to appear in its promotional campaigns for the next year. “Last year we received over 1100 entries,” said Arlene Lebovic, vice-president of marketing at Tabi. “Typically, women do not enter many contests because of the time and effort involved, but this contest turned out to be an opportunity for women over 40 to tell us about who they are and why they wanted to be in the limelight.” Three winners will receive a trip to Toronto for a makeover and photo shoot, as well as a collection of Tabi clothing and a photo spread in Canadian Living magazine. The grand prize winner will also receive a national modeling contract for three upcoming Tabi campaigns. Women can enter the contest by mail or at a Tabi retail location. The chain operates 107 stores in Canada.
