MSN Canada begins Live Mobile Messenger contest

Toronto-based MSN Canada began a six-week contest yesterday called the “Windows Live Mobile Live Tour Sweepstakes” to promote the use of its Windows Live Mobile Messenger software for cellphones. The national promotion is being conducted in association with Bell Mobility, Fido, Rogers Wireless, Solo, and Telus. Customers of these wireless companies can enter the contest by going to <http://www.mobilelivetour.ca>, viewing an online demonstration of the software, downloading the program and using it to send in an instant message. Six weekly prizes will be distributed, including a Yamaha home theatre system, a Bose home theatre system, a Samsung LCD television, a shopping spree from HMV, a JVC in-dashboard display and a Toshiba laptop. The grand prize winner will receive a trip for four to a music concert anywhere in the world, along with airfare, five-nights accommodation and $5,000. The contest will run until March 31.
