Yahoo Canada gains three

Yahoo Canada of Toronto has added three new staff members in preparation for the launch of its new Yahoo Search Marketing service next year. Martin Byrne has been appointed director of Yahoo Search Marketing Canada. He most recently directed media sales operations at Sympatico/MSN Canada. He also headed online news operations at The National Post. Iain Wilson has been hired as search and partnership director for the service. For the past three years he has been Yahoo Europe’s senior manager of business development. Prior to that, he was the Eurpean business development manager at AltaVista. Maor Daniel has been appointed national marketing manager for Yahoo Search Marketing. He was previously at Bell Canada as an associate director responsible for small business customer strategy and marketing.
