Robert Bosch Canada retains John St.

Mississauga-based Robert Bosch Canada has retained John St. of Toronto to handle communications for its Skil Power Tool brand. The assignment includes in-store materials as well as other forms of communication. The agency’s design and new media division, Amoebacorp, will also work on the account. “Our goal this year is to drive greater differentiation between the Skil brand and the onslaught of other power tool brands flooding the market,” said Barbara Warnick, communications and event marketing manager at Robert Bosch. “The category has become increasingly competitive with low priced alternatives clouding the decision making process for consumers and creating confusion on price-value. John St. gets the need to blur the line between driving retail sales and building the brand name.”
