Women in Film and Television promotes two

Toronto-based Women in Film and Television has promoted Christine Amendola to the newly-created position of director of communications and business development. She will oversee communications and assist in planning and partnership activities. Amendola joined the organization in 2006 as communications manager. Prior to that, she was the media relations manager at Global Television. Heather Kanabe has been promoted from programming coordinator to programming manager. She will oversee the organization’s professional development training programs. She joined the organization in 2004.
