CanWest MediaWorks forms content agreement with Newstex

CanWest MediaWorks of Toronto has formed an agreement with Newstex of New York to provide coverage of blogs, international sources and broadcast transcripts to its FPinfomart news and business information service. The agreement will add 140 international transcript and news sources to the service, including CNN, BBC and CNBC, as well as the full text of an unspecified number of blogs. “This announcement with Newstex signifies a new era for FPinfomart as we enhance our offering to our business customers with comprehensive, trusted news and information feeds from around the world,” said Arturo Duran, interactive and business integration president at CanWest MediaWorks. “With access to blogs, transcripts, and enhanced international content, customers will benefit from a one-stop source for complete news and business coverage.”
