LG Electronics takes new phones on tour

LG Electronics Canada of Mississauga is preparing a promotional tour in support of its new Chocolate LG 8500 and LG TG800 cell phones. The tour will include stops at shopping malls and office towers in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. At each location, promotional workers will distribute coupons and direct passers-by to branded display areas where they can sample the products. Potential customers will also be invited to participate in a survey in order to enter a draw for an LG phone. The program is being conducted by The Collective of Toronto. “This tour demonstrates how we are able to increase customer transactions in the form of traffic and sales in the short term, while at the same time helping to build the brand over the long term,” said agency president David Abrams.
