Unilever sends more work to DDB Canada

Unilever Canada has appointed Toronto-based DDB Canada the Canadian advertising agency of record for its Lipton Savoury account, which includes the Lipton Sidekicks and Lipton Soups brands. DDB Canada had already been responsible for Lipton Teas, Lipton Brisk and Lipton Iced Tea advertising. The new assignment consolidates the entire Lipton product line with the agency. DDB Canada also handles advertising for Unilever’s Knorr brand of soups and sauces. “Based on our great working history with DDB Canada and the results they’ve achieved for us, we’re very pleased to extend the agency’s assignment across our Lipton brand line,” said Chad Scales, vice-president of savoury brand development at Unilever North America. “The agency consistently produces some very effective, creative advertising, and partnering with them to market this piece of our portfolio will help us create efficiencies across our business.”
