Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation begins campaign

Groundzero Marketing Communications of Toronto has created a new ad campaign for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to promote its annual CIBC Run For The Cure fundraising event. The campaign is intended to encourage people who are not currently involved with the event to donate. The television, print, radio and Web ads use the theme of an “everyday person” contributing to the run. The 30-second television commercial features a police officer describing how difficult it was to attend the run and see children without mothers. The 2006 event will take place in 51 communities nationally on Oct. 1.
