HARRY ROSEN HANGS HIS HAT AT ROCHE
By Adnews Staff
Roche Macaulay & Partners Advertising of Toronto was handed the Harry Rosen business earlier this month. Roche was hired without a review because the men's fashion chain liked work the agency has done for other clients, especially IKEA, sales promotions and advertising manager Mary Pompili told Adnews yesterday. Harry Rosen has been with its incumbent agency, Reid Bell and Associates of Toronto, for 35 years. However, owner Reid Bell is retiring and closing the agency. Over the next three months, Reid Bell will finish up projects for Rosen. At the same time, Roche will be working on a fall campaign. Agency partner Andrew Macaulay said the ad budget is more than $1 million. Pompili said it is 2% to 3% of annual sales. Harry Rosen has 22 stores in Canada.
