CTV Toronto has signed a three-year agreement making it the exclusive broadcast sponsor of Pride Week in that city. Through 2008, CTV will provide coverage of and promotional support for the cultural event. This support will include on-air and online campaigns featuring various CTV Toronto personalities saying, “I have pride.” The channel’s news organization will also submit ongoing reports from the events. The network will also debut a CTV Toronto float in the upcoming parade on June 25. As part of its ongoing “Community Connection” campaign, CTV Toronto has formed sponsorship agreements with a number of cultural events in that city, including the Beaches' Jazz Festival, Taste of Toronto, the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Toronto's Outdoor Art Exhibition, the Junction Arts Festival, the Toronto Buskerfest, the Chinese Lantern Festival and the World Dragon Boat Championship.
