Montreal Gazette hires Bleublancrouge

The Montreal Gazette has appointed Bleublancrouge, also based in Montreal. its new ad agency. The firm will handled all advertising communications for the daily newspaper. “Both The Gazette and Bleublancrouge have embarked on a process of revitalization and are both driven by new momentum,” said Bernard Asselin, vice-president of marketing, sales and reader services at the paper. “Beyond the agency's strategic and creative talent, the fact that it is in a state of change, as is our paper, will only foster a better understanding of the issues and a symbiosis between our two organizations.” A new campaign for The Gazette will break in the fall.
