New editor-in-chief at Chatelaine

Rogers Publishing of Toronto has appointed Sara Angel editor-in-chief of Chatelaine magazine. She will take over the position on June 1. Angel was previously at Saturday Night magazine where she wrote a food column and produced stories on art, social issues, politics, lifestyle, fashion and gardening. Prior to that, she operated a company that produced illustrated books. She has also been a commissioning editor at London-based art publisher Phaidon Press and a literary non-fiction editor at Macfarlane Walter & Ross.
