La Ronde hires Cossette

Cossette Communication-Marketing of Montreal has been retained by amusement park La Ronde, also located in Montreal. Cossette will handle the park’s advertising, while Blitz Direct Data & Promotion will handle its promotional work and Optimum Public Relations will handle PR. Cossette won the account in a competition involving an unknown number of additional contenders. “We were looking for a partner that could provide a full range of marketing communications services under one roof,” said La Ronde marketing director Jean Quintin. “The strategy and creative presented by Cossette met our expectations.” According to Quintin, the goal of the park’s marketing this year will be to communicate to potential visitors the new experience to be found at the venue as a result of recent renovations. La Ronde is owned by Six Flags of Largo, MD.
