Hockey Canada breaks new television campaign

Hockey Canada has released a new 30-second television commercial that depicts the role of hockey in Canadian culture. The ad, called “Lights,” shows a series of lights coming on in an arena early in the morning, leading up to a group of children playing hockey. The ad uses the tagline, “Hockey First.” It is intended to encourage enrollment in minor hockey programs. The campaign, created by DDB Canada, will run nationally in English and French beginning this week. Hockey Canada is an association that oversees the management of hockey programming in Canada.
