CHUM hires Free

CHUM Limited of Toronto has appointed Gabrielle Free to the position of director of communication for CHUM Television Music and Youth Services. This group includes MuchMusic, MuchMoreMusic, MuchVibe, MuchLoud, MuchMoreRetro, Razer and PunchMuch. Free will oversee communication strategy and publicity activities for these brands. Free was most recently in the communications department of the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration. She has also worked as a freelance publicist at YTV, the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Festival Film Jakmel, Floating Film Festival, and the Ontario Media Development Corporation. She was also the director of communications at the Toronto International Film Festival Group.
