High Road hired by Canadian Aviation Security Conference

High Road Communications has been appointed public relations agency of record for the Canadian Aviation Security Conference. The agency will work to raise awareness of and generate media interest in the event, which will take place in Ottawa on March 29 and 30. The conference is aimed at aviation security personnel from government, industry and academia. It will address issues such as technology, privacy, intelligence and cargo transportation. It will also include a tradeshow of products from security technology vendors. "The High Road team has proven relationships in the technology sector and with Canadian media," said Norm Kirkpatrick, manager of the conference. "High Road's experience and dedication will help generate the buzz that we need to attract the right participants and attendees." The event is being co-hosted by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, Transport Canada, the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance, the Canadian Airports Council and the Air Transport Association of Canada.
