The Beer Store introduces carts, coupons

Ontario beer retailer The Beer Store has introduced two new promotional vehicles at its 437 locations in that province. First, the company has installed 1300 shopping carts in its stores, each with a 26" x 20" advertising display face on the back. This program began in August. The second promotion will begin in November, when The Beer Store will start distributing coupons bundled into "Lifestyle Savings Books." The books, which will be issues four times each year, will contain coupons for discounts on various products from third parties. Both promotional initiatives were developed by Bedrock Strategic Marketing Group of Toronto, the agency of record for The Beer Store.
