Toronto Downtown Jazz hires sponsorship agent

Toronto Downtown Jazz has retained Marilyn Michener as its new sponsorship marketing agent. She will represent the organization in the development of sponsorship marketing programs for the nine Canadian jazz festivals produced by the Toronto-based not-for-profit entity. These cities include Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax. Michener is an independent consultant who specializes in sponsorship marketing in the arts and entertainment industry. She has also worked as head of sponsorship, arts and entertainment at the CBC and director of development for the Canadian Stage Company.
