Purolator begins Out of the Ordinary campaign

Purolator Courier will break a national advertising campaign today called "Out of the ordinary is never out of the question." The campaign, created by Publicis, uses customer profiles to illustrate the company's ability to handle unusual shipping requirements. "In the new campaign, we seek to demonstrate that we understand the unique distribution needs of customers," said John Cooper, vice-president of marketing at Purolator. "The creative seeks to provide solutions to these fundamental needs but it highlights them in unexpected ways that we hope will be very impactful." Television advertising will run nationally until late November. Print ads will run in Canadian business, manufacturing, legal, automotive, logistics and accounting publications through the fall. The campaign is intended to be a continuation of the company's "Where business is going" initiative that began in 2004.
