Telus begins fall campaign in Quebec

Telus has begun a new campaign in Quebec promoting its residential telephone and high speed Internet services. The ads, created by LXB Communication Marketing, use a family of lemurs as spokescharacters. The 30-second television commercial depicts three lemurs against a white background listening to music on an MP3 player. One print ad shows a fast-moving lemur grabbing an MP3 players with its tail. Radio, flyer and point-of-purchase advertising are also being used. "By using lemurs as a unifying visual tool, we have succeeded in including the various offers under the same topic," said Manon Deschênes, head of accounts at LXB. "This communication synergy adds to the perceived frequency of the various ads by the targeted clientele."
