ORACLE SWITCHES AGENCIES

California-based software company Oracle Corp. switched its account to Ketchum Communications of Los Angeles. The agency was given the account after a three-month review with the San Francisco offices of McCann-Erickson and J. Walter Thompson. In Canada, Oracle mostly relies on residual advertising from the U.S., technical support manager Jeff Pape told Adnews this week. When Canadian advertising is done, it is created by Toronto-based Strategic Ampersand.
