ACLC appointed North American AOR by SCA Personal Care

ACLC Advertising of Toronto has been appointed North American creative agency of record for SCA Personal Care of Eddystone, PA. The agency will handle consumer communications for the Serenity and TENA lines of incontinence products. The assignment, which includes broadcast, print and collateral materials for the US and Canada, was previously held by DDB of New York, which will continue to do this work for the rest of the globe. ACLC received the account without a competition based on other work the agency has done for SCA over the past five years. In 1999 the agency worked on the Canadian launch of the TENA brand, which was SCA's first move into North America. Since then, the firm has also been assigned SCA's US print creative. ACLC has also produced US television advertising for the company on a project basis. "We enjoy a complementary working style with ACLC," said Nate TenHuisen, North American vice-president of marketing for SCA. "We've been impressed by ACLC's people and their insights into the consumer. We've developed a very close working relationship with them over the years."
