NIELSEN MEDIA RESEARCH HIRES TWO

Television audience measurement firm Nielsen Media Research, based in Markham ON, has appointed Paul Robinson marketing and communications director and Kathy Dean data specialist. Robinson will manage media relations and marketing communications for the company in Canada. Most recently he worked at Trylon Communications of New York. Prior to that he was client communications director for Nielsen Media Research in New York, a firm he first joined in 1994. Dean previously worked in the market research department at CTV as a research analyst specializing in Toronto and Vancouver. She has also held positions in the media departments of Starcom Worldwide, Hilary Thom Media, and Optimedia. At Nielsen she will conduct analyses for the firm's television audience measurement and advertising information clients.
