TIM HORTONS PROMOTES BEEF STEW

A four-week television and radio advertising campaign created by Enterprise Advertising of Toronto is promoting a new Tim Hortons product called Beef Stew in a Bread Bowl. The campaign broke last week with a 30-second television commercial and a 30-second radio ad. The commercial depicts a man counting down the minutes until he can meet his lunch date, which turns out to be a bowl of stew. The radio ad presents a man overcome with emotion when his friends give him a bowl of stew a farewell gift. Outdoor advertising and in-store materials are also in use. Enterprise has also created an original ad to promote the product in Quebec.
