MELITTA PROMOTES ONE:ONE COFFEE MAKER

Toronto-based Melitta Canada has begun a marketing campaign for One:One single serve coffeemakers. Four vans in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal are distributing samples of coffee made with the machine to pedestrians. The red vans display the words, "Try Me." "We're delivering our coffee directly to the consumer and giving consumers a first-hand demonstration of the coffeemaker," said Melitta Canada president Bill Ivany. Public relations and promotions for Melitta are handled by The Carlise Group of King City, ON.
