NABS GALA EVENING IN APRIL

The National Advertising Benevolent Society is holding its Gala Evening on April 19 in Toronto. Attendees will have a final chance to bid for over $2-million worth of donated industry-related goods and services in the fifth annual NABS Ad Auction. They will also be able to bid on items such as trips, sporting events, TV sets and jewelry. Entertainment for the evening will feature the Cape Breton sounds of Ashley MacIsaac and The Barra MacNeils. Also, the World Federation of Advertisers will present the 1996 ACA Gold Medal award. Lever Canada president Peter Elwood is the honorary chairman of the event.
