EBAY CANADA HIRES VP, COUNTRY MANAGER

Gary Briggs has been appointed vice-president and country manager for eBay Canada. Briggs will be responsible for all of eBay Canada's operations, including sales and marketing. Most recently Briggs was vice-president of consumer marketing for eBay.com in San Jose, CA. He replaces Todd Madeiros, who has been promoted to senior director of international acquisition, strategy and execution for eBay in San Jose.
