NEW CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE TORONTO, NIAGARA FALLS TO AMERICANS

The Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation, Tourism Toronto and Tourism Niagara have begun a program intended to promote Toronto and Niagara Falls, ON as tourist destinations for Americans. Few details of the new campaign were available at press time. It will include a tourism advertising supplement in the April issues of several U.S. magazines. The advertising effort is intended to counter the negative economic impact of SARS, Mad Cow disease, West Nile virus and Border Terrorist Alerts.
