AWARD SHOW ROUND UP

Five Canadians will be jury members at the Cannes Lions 51st International Advertising Festival in June. Alan Russell, creative director at DDB Vancouver, has been appointed to the film jury. Alan Gee, executive creative director of Toronto-based Gee, Jeffery & Partners, has been appointed to the print jury. Andrew Pugsley, vice-president and creative director at Brann Worldwide Toronto, has been appointed to the direct marketing jury. Kristian Manchester, creative director of Montreal-based Diesel Interactive, has been appointed to the cyber jury. Amanda Ploughman, managing director of Initiative Media in Toronto, has been appointed to the media jury. Also, Paul Oldale, manager of advertising and brand management at Canada Post, will be the 2004 Direct at Home judge. Oldale will judge the preliminary direct marketing entries in Canada and will be invited to judge the category in Cannes in 2005.
